I have been on this
earth for quite some time. I have been a daughter, a wife, a mother, and a
grandmother. I have played these roles with love and compassion most of the
time. Sometimes my role as a professional became more important. It is a
weakness of mine.
My professional history is
rather eclectic, although they are all somewhat creative at their base.
I was a Beautician for a
while, but due to lack of interest and allergies, I left to seek something else
more fulfilling.
I owned a Bookstore. It helped
fill my hunger for knowledge. Due to lack of interest, not on my part, and of
course lack of money, I had to close the store.
Remodeling homes was
next on my list. I enjoyed that. The physical labor became too much for me.
I am basically in awe! of life and all it’s possibilities There is
so much to learn and experience. At this point in my life it has become more of
an inner experience, an inner pursuit, is what I seek.
I consider myself a
spiritual being. I am not affiliated with any religion; they all have something
beautiful to offer.
My next creative avenue
was flowers.. I worked in a floral shop and became a Floral Designer. I started
my own business. My focus was dried and silks. Allergies popped up again and
off I went to find something new.
Believe it or not, I
went back to school. Art was my focus. I took a class in Digital Art and was
hooked. I loved it. I still work with that medium and I am sure it will show up
at times in my Blog.
My testimony here is to never stop learning.
My currant love.
Crystals!!!! I love the way the prisms play around the room when the Sun
catches them. That love opened the door for elaborate and beautiful ways of
displaying the crystal. My love for beads, and my new found love for copper
makes a perfect marriage. My style is reminiscent of the Victorian age with the
swirls and beadings. Tarnish the copper
and you have an aged look. I hope you will enjoy them as well.
